Aurora Photography Tour
Looking for an aurora photography tour in Iceland? The winter 2016-2017 I am running a Northern Lights Photography Lesson for photographers of all levels coming to Iceland. Make sure you will get personal and high quality service when looking for the northern lights.
Preparation: You meet with your photoguide in the afternoon at a café in Reykjavik, down by the old harbour. Over a cup of coffee, tea or hot chockolate (included in price) we cover the basics of how to photograph the northern lights. Camera settings, lenses, locations, light pollution and neccesary equipment. You will also be given a short booklet about photographing the northern lights.
After this first part of the lesson you go for dinner of your own choice. If you want me to book a restaurant and have a dinner with a local guide, you just let me know, but that is not included.
Hands-on lesson: In the evening, I will take you out of Reykjavik to a location where it is most likely to find northern lights. That can mean driving for 1-2 hours out of Reykjavik to escape clouded sky. Once we see the lights we start photographing and your guide will help you with everything neccesary to capture the northern lights. We then head back to your hotel after about 2 hours of photography. It all depends on aurora activity and clear skies.
This tour is run by my own photorgraphy tour company, Iceland Photo Walk. The price for this lesson is 32.900 ISK per person. Check availabilty and request a quote for you and your group by filling this form:
